Accessible from Chatel are routes over to Morzine and Avoriaz where stage finishes for the tour have finished in the past. We have many great and classic routes for your stay.

Chatel is a charming and traditional French farming village, encapsulating a warm and friendly welcome from everyone. The region is particularly famous for its restaurants and culinary delights specialising in various cheese dishes like Tartiflette or Hot stone fondues. There are many great wines to taste to compliment your meals and the night life is plentiful with live music but without being noisy and overbearing.

Chatel has made major improvements in their infrastructure to accommodate tourism and for road biking itself, considering the roads take a huge battering each year from the snow, do excellent in their maintenance to ensure safe riding. Paces easily accessible close by include locations in Switzerland and stunning areas around Lake Geneva including Evian. Chatel is located in the northern alps and easily reached by flying into Geneva airport. It is only a 9 hour drive from Calais also.
